Empire Accountants are pleased to introduce Ally Williamson from Rivers Insurance Brokers for our Partner in Business feature this month.
Ally has been looking after Empire’s general insurance needs basically from our inception. I am thrilled to share all the great things about Ally and the fabulous business she has landed herself in at Rivers Insurance Brokers.
Rivers focuses on providing great-value general insurance solutions that work. These solutions are delivered to both individuals and businesses that have been part of the communities in which we have lived and worked for many years.
As insurance brokers, we offer much more than just comparing policies and providing a “cheap” deal. We have a deep understanding of insurance fine print, which can save your bacon down the track if or when bad things happen.
Our commitment to doing this well has ensured that on our 40-year journey, the support we have received from our growing group of clients has helped us become one of Queensland’s larger privately led insurance brokerages.
With 25 years of experience in the Insurance broking industry, I have pretty much worked on all types of general insurance. These include business liability, management liability, cyber, professional indemnity, travel, contents, motor vehicles, and commercial and residential property….to name a few of the common ones.
Great question. The insurances we don’t look after are personal insurances, such as income protection, life insurance, trauma insurance, or key person risk. For those services, you have to be a licensed financial planner.
I am passionate about building customer relationships and helping my clients understand the value of Insurance and how it can help protect their business and livelihood if the worst were to happen. I believe it is important to strike a balance between knowing that the broker will take care of everything and also taking the time to explain in plain language so the client understands what they’re paying for.
Given our commitment to looking after the communities in which we live and work, we serve a wide range of clients.
This includes everything from small cafes, medium-sized retailers, professional services firms, manufacturers, construction, shopfitters, and farmers. Honestly, the list is endless.
The common factor among all of our favourite clients is that they are committed to building a close and proactive relationship so we can understand exactly what they do, ensuring that they will never feel alone regarding insurance when they need us.
The Rivers’ journey has been ongoing for over 40 years. What hasn’t changed in that time is being able to find team members who share the values that our founders had with respect to ensuring that our clients never feel alone when it comes to their insurance.
The world is changing so fast that it is challenging to ensure our team stays up to date with what clients need whilst staying passionate about great customer service.
We work on addressing this challenge daily by ensuring our team knows how important this is and that we invest time and money in ensuring that they can be as good as we need them to be.
If you would like to partner with an Insurance Broker that takes the time to get to know you and your business and understand your needs, Rivers Insurance offers an initial discussion and quotations with no fee payable unless policies are placed.
We thank Ally so much for taking the time to share her story with us. We highly recommend Ally to any client who is in need of a general insurance solution. She has always been there to look after our insurance needs, with a big bright smile on her face and no question is ever a hassle!
